Welcome to Sandys Parish

Learn More

Sandys is not just the western tip of Bermuda — it’s home. A place where history and culture meet everyday life, and where neighbours look out for one another. From the stories of the Royal Naval Dockyard to the vibrant spirit of Somerset and beyond, Sandys has always been about resilience, pride, and belonging.

At the Sandys Parish Council, we are here to celebrate what makes our parish special, to listen and respond to our community, and to help create opportunities for everyone from our seniors who hold our history, to our young people who shape our future.

Together, we are building a stronger, more connected Sandys.

Events & Volunteering

There’s always something happening in Sandys. From lively fairs and family celebrations to community clean-ups and cultural gatherings, our events are all about bringing neighbours together.

Want to make a difference? There are plenty of ways to get involved — whether it’s lending a hand at a parish clean-up, sharing your skills, or simply showing up to support local events. With opportunities for every age and interest, volunteering is a chance to give back, meet new friends, and celebrate the spirit of Sandys.
